- Ex-Chief Scientist & Head, Environmental Biotechnology Division CSIR-NEERI, Nagpur
- Worked in NEERI for last 37 years and involved in several R&D activities on environmental issues and rendered consultancy services on environmental management.
- Worked in 12 societal mission projects as a team members identified by Honorable Supreme Court of India and submitted Inspection Reports along with recommendations for implementation for different sectors.
- Worked as team members for societal mission one project for Honorable High Court of Karnataka and submitted Inspection Report along with recommendation for Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Research focus on environment and odour, published 130 international journals, 27 National Journals, 09 Book Chapter, 06 patent.
- Honors as Recognized as Ph. D. supervisor in Chemistry for Kakatiya University, Warangal (Andhra Pradesh) and Recognized as Ph. D. supervisor in Chemistry for Nagpur University, Nagpur
- Award(s) - Biotech Research Society of India Fellowship, 2004
- National Biotech Award for the year 2003 for demonstration of a indigenously developed biotechnological process for desulphurization of gaseous fuels and biogas
